The Man At Odds With Nature
The Rebirth collection of artistic male nudes was photographed in New York City's Central Park at 1AM in the middle of a January blizzard. The series was inspired by the model, South Florida artist Lance Ossman, and a desire to convey the struggles that Man has in such harsh conditions. The blizzard acts as a metaphor, constantly driving at the man who vacillates between fear and rejection then acceptance and release. The series illustrates the fact that, even in the sanctuary of a park inside one of the largest metropolitan cities in the world, nature can still drive a man to be completely and utterly alone.
